Welcome to the website of ensemble Oriana. On this site, you will find information about the ensemble, the musicians, concerts and projects.
Ensemble Oriana is an international ensemble with three recorder players and one singer: Yorgos Pavlakos, Anneke Hoekman, Tamara Weessies and Solbjörg Björnsdóttir.
During our concerts, you can enjoy the beautiful music from medieval times and renaissance. We also perform arrangements of baroque pieces and might surprise you with some modern music for recorder ensemble.
The ensemble has regularly invited dutch and international musicians for cooperation and in the past we have worked with Hidesato Sugiyama (recorder), Marit Darlang (recorder), Rosina Fabius (alto), Iris van 't Veer (soprano), Elena Krasaki (soprano) and Paulina Cerna Huice (viola de gamba)
